Static noise when making phone call

I have a new iPhone 15 pro. In the last week or so a static/crackling noise has become very noticeable when making or receiving a call. It affects the sound quality hugely. Any ideas what it might be? It’s hardly a blocked speaker or receiver in a new phone? thanks

Shouldn't be like that and needs to be replaced. Instead of being on here I'd be on to Apple Support chat or back to where you both the phone.
