Hi....I am working in the HSE for the last 18 years and am 43 yrs old. I got an offer to work in QLD, Australia in my same area of expertise. I am wondering what are the options available for my pension in Ireland. I am thinking to move permanently within the next 5 months. Your opinions much appreciated. Thanks

You will have a preserved pension benefit.

At the normal retirement age, the HSE will start paying the preserved benefits to you.

    Is it that simple?

Feel like OP could end up on the single pension scheme unless they do everything correctly.
