Samsung TV with white spot o' doom!

    My precious Samsung 55" LCD TV has developed a white spot. Kind of like these:

    Are these easily fixable?

    The TV is unreplaceable as it has the 3D function which I love and seems to be nigh on impossible to buy a Samsung with that now :(
