Aer lingus seating

    I went to check in this morning for my flight back to Cork tomorrow and select 2 seats together.

    All that are left are a few middle aisle seats in the regular fare section which are free.

    My question is, there are plenty of the more expensive seats available, will I be able to book these for free closer to the departure time or am I stuck with the middle seats

    For anyone interested we checked in at the airport this morning and we were assigned 2 seats together near the front free of charge
