Plug it out getting a photo on the gram about it won’t help it.

Smoke and power loss is usually a burnt coil. Not much fixing can be done there that I know of.

My Bosch gbh5e shorted out its lead there today on a job. It was where the cable clamp was, it smoked mad and lost power and cut site power.
It may be an easy fix.

I took it apart and repaired the lead but I took it apart again and put the coil on the gram.
