Vertical toilet waste into tee under floorbords

I'm just putting in a toilet that drains vertically to the soil pipe between the joists. The joists themselves are 7 inches deep.

So here I am fixing in the 4 inch tee and I realise I've no room to raise it at all, to give it any fall. What's the done thing here? Should the socket of the tee protrude through the floor behind the toilet? Or is there a different type of tee I should use?

What’s the distance between the tee and the 90 to the wc?

I'm not sure what you mean? Is the 90 to the WC the pan connector? Are you interested in the measurement from the socket of the tee to the centre of the outlet?

No issue with a fall of that distance if it’s level.

I think we're misunderstanding each other. I've to raise the tee to get any fall at all. There's no room to raise the tee. To do so I would have to protrude the socket of the tee through the floor.

I'm wondering will this be shoddy or is it my only choice?

Can you draw a picture? I'm struggling to follow what the issue is?

Is it an existing soil pipe in the joists or a new one? Is the issue connecting the new soil pipe to the existing via a T because you cant get a fall within the joists?
