Hi All, am travelling with the kids for the soccer/football tonight. We're driving over from the Midlands and am just trying to find the best place to park without going into the centre city. Am thinking Booterstown could work and then travel in on the train straight to the Aviva. Would this work? Is the parking there generally OK? Or if you have any other parking options within walking distance for kids of the stadium it's appreciated. Thanks!

You won't get parking within walking distance and, if you do, it'll be a nightmare getting back out.

Park and use the DART is your best bet. Plenty of parking at Clontarf Road or Raheny Stations, for example, both with easy access to the M50. Or Blackrock/Monkstown/Dun Laoghaire if you're familiar with that side of the city.

Previous poster is right, it will be hard to find a space within walking distance on mid week night and if you do, it will take at least an hour to get to the M50 after the match.

Depends were your coming from but using the Luas park & ride at the Red Cow might be an option.

when coming up for any of the rugby matches I've always gotten parking on Eglington Road - only 15 mins from the stadium

pick up a leap card, can get it in shops or ticket machines

will make it easier getting there and back

Park for free beside King's hospital, bus to town. Dart from Tara St
