The main differences are the Style has larger alloy wheels, nicer fabric on the seats, larger screen infotainment system and full digital dials.

one difference i'd see between those two cars is the style has nearly 35k more on the clock than the ambition one; equivalent to more than two years of driving at average irish levels.

Possibly keyless entry on the Style also and chrome trim extra. I bought a new Octavia in May and am very happy with it. It is an "Edition 30", step up from the Style so has a few other nice bells and whistles. 2.0 diesel 115bhp - fast enough for all I need and very economical (average 55-56mpg).

All else being equal, given they are 1 litre petrol, I think I'd be going for the lower mileage of the 2 cars listed. If they were diesel I'd be taking the spec into consideration more I think.

This is from last year so should be the same as 2021.

The style seems to have more than enough equipment. It has everything you could possibly want or need so if it's only a small engined car then yes the style is the best buy but if its a diesel then really it comes down to whichever one you like @OP.

All that's on the Ambition over the style is really just extra style equipment.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

The Ambition is lower spec than the Style.

Would definitely disagree that the extras on the Style aren’t worthwhile. Even having the touch sliders for the climate control makes a big difference vs using the screen. Wireless CarPlay is class too compared to plugging in. Power fold mirrors are handy too.

the rest you could live without, but they definitely make the car more enjoyable.

My amateur opinion is that the diesel version will probably last for higher mileage than the petrol. I could be wrong however.
