Would this cause emissions problem as my car failed the NCT due to emissions

More than likely the intercooler pipe on the passenger side (right side when looking at the car from the front) of the car has burst. Common issue and can give this dtc.

If its not the pipe its the boost solenoid - I think its located on either the bulk head behind the engine or on the front top panel - when theyve failed they usually make a loud clicking sound constantly.
