Anyone do the event today? What did you think?

Fantastically organised at usual. The volunteers are always great to deal with. The posting of numbers made for a more streamlined experience after the delays last year. I like the redesigned finishers shirt. The soup at the end was delicious.

Weather was mild considering the chillier temperatures last year. The rain the previous day made for very soft and slippy terrain in places. All part of the enjoyment though.

I agree. The numbers being posted made a huge difference to last year's event. The start was much more relaxed.

I really enjoyed it. Rolled my ankle after three miles last year so hobbled most of the way. No such misfortune yesterday.

The volunteers were great. Can't have been easy standing there for hours on end.

Photo albums up on the event facebook page. Hoping that there's a gold mine of photos of me in album 9 that is currently missing as there hasn't been much thus far.

Ran it on Saturday. First time doing it, very well organised, great cause, and loved the course, as tough as it was in places. I'll be back!

Some amount of pictures, I'll have to trawl through them!

My first time too. Ran the Long Course. Could not have been organised better. Everything about it was superb.

Would love if they'd have this early in the year, tough to plan from the other side of the country so close to DCM.

Great to see events like ths thrive, have fond memories of the old Wicklow way trail route that ended in Johnny Foxes and also the one the used to run around Marlay-Masseys-Tibradden-Ticknock. Memories of Jerry Kiernan orations to the crowd before the start.

The people of Dublin are so lucky to have such a beautiful mountain range a few miles from the city.

I did the long course with a friend same as last year, very well organised for sure. Posting the numbers got rid of the only niggle with the big queues last year. Great work by all involved.

Did it myself. Got injured about 5 miles in, battled on and made it. Well organised. Love the big trail runs

Same for me but a little earlier for the first fall really took wind from the sails and second one was just laughable. Nice t-shirt all the same
