LED strip lighting randomly switching on, can't switch off

Hi there, as above, I have an LED light strip under my kitchen units, controlled by a remote. I noticed first of all that they kept going on randomly, which I assumed was down to something with the remote. So I took the remote away from the area, which seemed to solve things.

However, the other day, when I got back from travelling, the strip lights were on. I don't have the remote with me so I can't switch them off. Putting the kitchen fuse in the down position switches them off alright, but when I turn that fuse on again, they go back on.

I'm heading away again tomorrow for a few days so my question is, will I just leave them on until I can get an electrician next week, or should I turn off the kitchen fuse when I leave? (they've already been on a few days).

    Has anyone seen this before?

    Thanks!

Can you disconnect them? Is there not a power switch on them? Sounds like there is either some other gadget switching them on or their controller is gone faulty.

No power switch as far as I can see, no. When you say controller, do you mean the remote? Because that's not anywhere near and wouldn't have switched them on I'd say. I'll definitely be contacting an electrician next week but unlikely today, and I just have concerns about leaving them on another few days (of course, they might just run out of power too).

The only other option is to switch off the fuse at the fuseboard and the internet doesn't seem to think that's a good plan.

Not the remote, the device on the led strip that the remote talks to. There has to be a way to disconnect or power off as these should never be fed direct from a fuse box. There is a little box at one end or the other of the strip, this is the led driver and controller. You should be able to switch off or disconnect this - follow the wires.

When you talk fuse at the fuse board are you talking about the lights or sockets for the kitchen ?

The fuse I'm talking about controls the sockets in the kitchen, not the lights. So when I knock that off, the LEDs go off, plus the kettle etc, but they all go back on when that switch is in the on position. Would it be safe to leave that fuse off until I can get this sorted?

Don't see any obvious box or anything where the LEDs are fitted, although I can see the wiring. To be honest, I don't feel that confident doing anything with the LED itself.
