Double slit exoeriment

Hi,

My son is mad to do Double slit experiment. I mean really mad. From what I can see it's much easier to do with a laser and a double slit slide. I tried with a torch and cardboard box and couldn't get close to get it working

So wondering where could I buy a cheap laser and where could I get a slide with the double slit?

Note: I need to get it tomorrow, anywhere in Dublin I could get both?

A torch will never work as the light needs to be a single wavelength for it to work.

You might try getting a laser presenter. Currys the electrical shop in Dublin seems to do them:

This site suggests using a lice comb for the double slits. You cover all but two of the slits.

You might get a lice comb in a pharmacy in Dublin.

I just thought you were talking about the quantum double split experiment, I was wondering how you were going to generate single photons at home.
