    Folks,

Moving to Ennis in the next short while, and looking for a Gp or surgery that might be taking patients. I need a checkup/ health check and an ongoing Gp when I move.

    Thanks

Resurrecting this thread. I'm new in town (a fortnight!) and in search of a GP. I might have a serious condition (I'm also looking for a consultant to look into that, but we really don't need to discuss that now) so I will need a GP to help manage and direct treatment. That means there is some urgency to finding a GP. I supposed I just have to call everyone on the HSE list? Any other hints?

I'd say go in and talk the the receptionists. Will likely get fobbed off by most of them but don't press it too much. Then go back in a few weeks and try the ones seemed more amendable a second time. It's like a job interview at this point.
