Replacing an open fireplace with a boiler stove

I am wanting to replace my open fire which has no back boiler with a boiler stove I've just bought second hand. The house use to have a Rayburn range with a back boiler in the kitchen but I have removed it to fit an induction range cooker. The return pipe for the old range runs past the chimney brest in the eaves where I want to plumb the boiler but I'm hoping there's an alternative to having to tear up the floors for a feeder pipe. A hall is at the back of the chimney brest with the hot press the other side of the hall, so the water tank is roughly 2metres from the chimney brest. Could I use a pump to go up into the eaves then across to the chimney brest with the feeder pipe or do I need to tear up the floor and go directly across the hallway?

Any insights would be greatly Appreciated.
