I’m looking to invest €500 a month (with an initial €10000) for a 20 year period, ideally in a SNP 500 Index Fund.

What companies in Ireland offer such a product? From a quick initial research I see it’s possible to invest a SNP 500 ETF’s but don’t see Index Funds?

Am I correct in saying that gains on both Index Funds and ETF’s would be subject to tax @41%?

Direct ETFs are also subject to "deemed disposal " tax ever 8 years so if you invest monthly your tax bill will be complex, its a makey up irish tax law to extract money.

Ireland doesn't like people investing to secure their future.
