I got a taxi via the Free Now app, picked a pal up along the way, she paid on arrival as I was to pay for the taxi back home.
It's been so long since I used the app I'd forgotten it would automatically charge my card. But I'd have assumed that the driver either would have cancelled the app payment, or else told us that the trip was automatically being charged to my card.
Of course my pal didn't get a receipt for her cash payment.
I've opened a query via their help page.
Anyone know how long it takes them to respond (I know it's the weekend now so probably into next week?)?
Am I completely wasting my time and energy here?
It's nearly 50 quid, so worth arguing over IMO!
