    Hi,

I have been looking at Japanese imports of 2020 Audi A4s but I notice that a lot of them have the older screen and not the 10 inch touch screen that came out in 2020. Is there a possibility that they are not genuine 2020 cars?

    Any opinion on it appreciated.

Different markets have different specs. If they are registered here as 2020’s then you can be assured they are definitely 2020’s.

Gotcha, sucks that they don't have that screen. Probably be more expensive then though.

Would it be an issue ordering car parts for a Japanese import?

No, not for an Audi. I’ve heard of very specific electronic parts being hard to get but generally speaking everything is the same as a European car. They are both built in Germany.

What do you mean? One thing that has me worried is the battery in the back. Plus no room for spare tire.

I thought it was a good price too though maybe I’m wrong.

I had a rental of a facelift a4 for a few weeks and I thought the new screen and software was awful. Probably better off with the older one. Lack of a controller was really annoying. Felt like I had my eyes off the road for ages just trying to do something simple on it. I drive a bmw that has a touchscreen but I only use the idrive controller. Hate the look of a grubby screen full of fingerprints too.
