Hi all I am starting a new job beside the iveagh gardens I’m coming up from kinnegad 2 days a week but I don’t know the area at all, could anyone tell me the transport links available? It’s a bit of an awkward location for me to get to, does anyone know if there is parking in the area if I were to drive? Thank you

    Bus:

    Bus Eireann 115 https://buseireann.ie/timetables/115-1697535326.pdf

The one each way to/from Belfield stops quite close, otherwise a walk from/to the Quays.

    Kearns https://kearnstransport.com/dublin/

Most drop off near by but only one from Belfield on college term days picks up there, otherwise a walk to the Quays.

Train from Enfield, Kilcock or Maynooth to Pearse https://www.irishrail.ie/IrishRail/media/Timetable-PDF-s/Connolly-DART-timetables/14_m3_parkway-longford.pdf

The closest I could think of is a Q-Park Stephen's Green Shopping Centre multistorey parking, but that's over 35 Eur a day. On street parking from next year will 4 Eur an hour in a highest rate zone. But on street only allow a maximum of I think 3 hours parking. I don't believe this is strictly enforced so you could extend parking on the app but that's a bit of the pain to always remember to do that in time. Parking in a city centre is a luxury for those who work all day and if that's not covered by an employer.

OP, consider taking the M50 (south) exit off the M4, go down as far as exit 13, take the Drummartin Link road, then drive over through Sandyford Ind. Estate to the Stillorgan Luas Park and Ride. Buy an all day parking ticket for €4, then take an inbound Luas to Harcourt or Stephen's Green - whichever is closest to your destination.

Id do a google maps check on the weekday traffic between Sandyford and the Lucan exit on the M50 from 4pm onwards (likely time I presume you'll be heading home) - its a total car park (. Bus to quays or train to Pearse as earlier suggested better for your sanity. It'll be €4 parking and then the Luas ticket in (which I would guess at another €4) and that's on top of your fuel to Stillorgan. The Luas website will have exact timings of the trams but I'd say 25 mins.

Edit Google Maps says Stillorgan Luas to Enfield is 1 hour to 1.5 hours on a weekday (that assumes no accident/breakdowns) etc.
