    Hi all

I know there is a discussion about Sky Q I have Sky HD plus and was thinking of moving to Sky Q wondering do I get all the channels that I currently have with my HD pack

having read the comments here Sky Q seems to be the way to go as I have two dishes in the back garden as long as there would be no loss of channels that I currently have I would be happy to go with a Q HD pack or ultra HD pack is the Ultra HD worth getting .

In principle yes the same channels are on both. There’s no channel available on Sky+HD that’s not available on Sky Q, they use the same satellites.

However in practice I think it would depend on whether you are on some sort of legacy package that you haven’t changed and if they required you as part of the upgrade to move to one of the current packages that might have a different line up. One thing to watch out for is that currently the kids channels (other than RTEjr/CBBC/CBeebies) are a separate package from the basic whereas that wasn’t always the case in the past.
