Irish Genealogy - captcha not loading

Anyone else having issues with the captcha not loading on the Irish Genealogy website?

This started yesterday and it's a bloody nuisance.

I've tried clearing my history but it makes no difference.

It's not working for me either. I normally use Firefox, but I also tried Chrome now and it's the same problem.

Yes, I have the same problem & others are reporting it on Twitter.

I've emailed a contact in the Dept who I know used to be involved there but no idea if he still is! I'll report back if I hear something.

Literally cannot work without it!

It's so frustrating.

And you can't even send them a message as you need the captcha to load in order to send it>

Honestly, I wish they'd just get rid of the damn thing!!

I got a response from my contact. They are now working on it as a matter of priority.

I am still having no luck getting logged on - any managed to get it working yet? Or had feedback from the site?

No - still the same for me unfortunately.

I emailed my contact again this morning but had no response.

The Dept did put out a tweet yesterday saying they were working on it.

Yeah, it's a pain.

And very disappointing that they couldn't have addressed the issue before the weekend.

The captcha page is looking a little different, but the site appears to be working again this morning.
