Booster pump expansion vessel sizing

Looking for any tips anyone has on this.

Back in the parents' house they have a booster pump in the attic boosting the outlet from the water tank which feeds cold taps and the hot water tank (and I suspect showers as well which I don't think is technically right but 🤷🏻‍♂️). The diaphram in the expansion/pressure vessel next to it seems to be gone so I'm planning on replacing it, easy enough job.

The existing vessel is only 2 litres, and I'm just wondering if that's a little small. There have been complaints since it was installed that the pump is cycling too often, ideally they'd like to be able to run a tap for more than a couple of seconds without triggering the pump. Would it be advisable to upgrade to a 5 or 10 litre vessel or could there be some unforseen consequence?

    Thanks in advance!
