Hi, I'm not sure which forum would be the best for my question - if this isn't the right one, Mods, could you kindly move it for me?

A friend of mine is a healthcare worker in Italy. She studied and got her qualifications there; the course was about 1000 hours long plus a traineeship. I've been trying to ring QQI but the call keeps getting dropped off. Does anyone know if my friend needs to do additional training to have her qualification recognised/transposed (for lack of a better word)? She's been working in a nursing home there for a good few years, too, so would that be beneficial to her for the comparison of qualifications? Could she ask to have her work experience go towards points/levels/whatever is needed?

    Thanks.
