I have a hyundai i30 Petrol 6 years old. Last 5 services were with a hyundai dealer. Would there be an issue taking it to a reliable local mechanic for a service? What I am wondering is would the dealer be using any hyundai diagnostic tools or equipment that the local mechanic would not have? I am thinking not given the car in question but at the end of the day I don't know.

Absolutely no issues, its out of warranty so no point paying extra to get it serviced at a Hyundai dealer.
