Mount electric heater vertically

    I have a tight space that needs a small heater.

    Is there a problem mounting an electric panel heater vertically rather than horizontal?

    I've checked various manufacturer's websites and docs, none say you can't or can.

    My gut feeling -considering convection paths- is that it needs to be mounted in designed orientation.

    I wouldn't change the orientation without specific guidance from manufacturers.

    There are plenty of vertical electric heaters out there - what size are you looking for? You can get them from about 300mm wide.
