Fired by my solicitor for complaining to her principal

Looking for advice as to next steps if possible.

My case is up in court on Monday for mention and having had a dispute with my solicitor she now says she won’t represent me.

Basically she is unhappy with how much she is being paid by the legal aid board and said she stopped working on my case. I asked her to sort the dispute between her and the legal aid board afterwards (as advised directly to me by the legal aid board is the normal process) and wrote a formal complaint to the firm's principal that she was copied in. Now she has withdrawn her services.

The case is regarding custody for my kids where the independent social worker's report indicates abuse and neglect and recommends I be given custody.

What do I do Monday? How do I get a solicitor before then? Are solicitors able to do this?

Genuinely don't know but best of luck, does your partner have a solicitor? Maybe ring the firm tomorrow to ask can they assign someone else, considering it sounds like a fairly open and shut case, that or ring around and be prepared to pay out of your own pocket to cover costs of the solicitor.

Most are decent enough in regards repayment terms if you are open from the start.
