Tea Time Express Australian Layer Cake Recipe

    I am working towards a family members birthday next February. Their standout cake was the Tea Time Express Australian Layer Cake and I want to bake them one as a surprise for their big day. Have scoured the internet with no luck and I really want to experiment and get as close as possible to the original.

    Can anybody offer any input on the slightly denser sponge cake? or, perhaps on the type of buttercream? and jam type {Strawberry/Raspberry}. Many thanks for any suggestions or ideas.
