How do I find which messages are "archived" in the Gmail app?

Phone slipped in my hand while in gmail and one or two unread messages swiped left into "archived" I didn't see which message went to archive so how do I find them? Suggestion is to go to "All mail" but that doesn't show me which ones were archived as I want to put them back in Inbox view

should show them
