Hello, I had a guy built me a gate that was originally 3m wide by 1.95m tall for 4k. It actually worked out to be 3.2m wide and 1.8m tall. Now he says because its wider and more work is in the width, and the price includes materials and he's left with 1.5k profit and usually its double. So he asked me for another grand. He said welders usually charge e450 per square metre when building a gate, and if I give him 5k total he will come out with around e250 per m² (materials aside). Is that a good price? Paying him 5k for 3 days work on a gate 3.2 by 1.8m? Thank you

Post a picture of the gate- seems dear to me at 4k never mind 5.
