Bamboo stump removal

    Would anyone have any advice as to how I might remove this. I am cutting down the shoots any time they sprout leaves (so as to starve the root system).

    I cannot get any hand tools underneath or between the roots as they are so densely intertwined. Happy to rent some sort of power tool or pay for a service if such a thing exists.
