eir Smart WiFi hub - placing far from router

    Hi

I have the Eir fibre router (F3000) and I bought a eir Smart WiFi hub but I need it in the furthest part away from the router in the house. The wifi is still very poor there even with the hub. Now I got the house cabled for ethernet but I have devices there that need good wifi (firestick etc). So my question is if I can connect an ethernet cable from the cable point next to the hub into one of those two ethernet points at the back of the hub, will that then take the solid internet and "beam out" a better quality wifi in that area ?

    Thanks
