Hi guys,

It's that time again and I'm back looking to upgrade my gear.

I'm looking for either a 65" LG C3 or G3 (depending on budget)

A Denon X3800 or X4800 along with a Q Acoustics 3050i 5.1 speaker package.

I'll need 4 ceiling speakers for Atmos - Think the Qi65s should go well with the rest of the system.

2 questions - Do you do the 3050i Plus package with the QB12 Sub?

Which version of the Qi65s would you recommend? I presume the Qi65C would be ok or do you think the SP types are worth it?

I'm good for speaker cable I think - hopefully will get away with the cables in place.

Any other recommendations are welcome!

I will mention that the g36 doesn't come with a pedestal or legs as standard. It comes with a wall bracket instead

I could do the avcx3800 for €1100

Again the best price on the 3050i pack would be the €1099 it is priced at online

If you wanted to remove the 3060s sub that comes in the package and replace it with the qb12. It would put the price of the package up to around the €1350 mark

I could do the QI65s for €219 per unit

Sorry about the delay. Got some work done on my house and the sitting room is almost ready. Time for the ceiling speakers.

I'm interested in either the Qi65C or the Qi65CP - I'll need 4 speakers. I'll can organise the amp, the 5.1 speakers and the TV over the next month or two then.

Which do you think is the best suited for an Atmos setup and what's your best price on each please? I'll need delivery to Galway too.

I'm actually currently sold out of the Q Acoustics QI65 and QI65CP - I would need to check on the availability with the supplier but I don't know if you've seen the Fyne FA502i LCR speakers? The drivers in these are angled and can be positioned towards your listening position for a better sound. They have an 8" driver so give a fuller sound than the Q Acoustics and also would fit really well with the 3050i pack.

The Fynes look great but it's beyond the budget I think, especially with the other items on my shopping list.

Anything else in mind? Don't mind waiting if the Q acoustics will take a week or two if there's no other option.
