Rainwater drains/gulleys all blocked at house

    All

tried unblocking rainwater pipe ground outlets/drains as they are all blocked.

Years of clay/silt/sand seems to have them filled and I suspect its down in pipe so out of reach from surface.

Any advise on how to get these un-blocked ? Is it a dig them up and re-lay new ones exercise ( hopefully not )

    thanks

Most if not all gullies etc have a "U" bend. Buy a big pair of rubber gloves, remove the cover and take out handfuls until the bend is clear. If you aren't that handy or willing then someone like "Drainforce" will come out and jet out all the gullies.

After doing the above. You can wash them with a power washer to get the water flowing. And maybe buy some drain rods. Woodies/Chadwick etc have these.

Very unlikely that you'll get drain rods around the gully trap.

If out the country you might get an obliging farmer to have a go at vacuuming them with a slurry tanker. But best option (if cleaning the trap doesn't work) will be a professional drain service.

Tried the rubber glove approach but its blocked through the bend and i fear a meter or two along that pipe.

i'll try get rods that are a bit more flexible to tackle a sharp bend.

As Wearb says its hard get round the AJ bend.

I get a slurry tankers neighbour frequently so will have him have a go at these.
