    Does anyone know if it’s possible to purchase vintage/traditional outdoor Christmas lights?

    I’m thinking of multicoloured glass bulb string lights. Everything seems to be really bright led bulbs nowadays and I’m not a fan!

    There’s a US company called Truetone and they specialise in creating vintage lights with this purpose in mind. Not sure if they deliver here or if their product is compatible and work in Ireland. I saw lights for sale in Dunnes recently, LEDs but they are ‘frosted’ so might be what I’m looking for.

    I ordered 4 packs of bulbs and strings from tru-tone last year and they are nothing short of glorious. Im obsessed when it comes to multi-coloured christmas lights and cant for the life of me understand why we put up with those garish led's.

    The lights are expensive and i had to buy an American - European adapter to boot, but so worth it.

    Waiting to order again, i think the company cant keep up with demand. Such an opportunity there for the larger light companies
