Silage bale chopper

    My silage bales are not chopped this year. What chopper would suit me best. I’m not a very big farmer so no big spending please😀

    Do you really need to shred them? I feed all un-chopped bales without much issue.

    Obviously breaking up the bale is the biggest issue but would a bale slice/splitter be better value for a smaller farm about €1600 new for small brands €2000 for Mchale
