Hi all. Is a 16Kw boiler big enough for a 4 bed semi?

12 rads on the system. That includes two towel rails.

Will this be big enough or should I be insisting on a bigger boiler?

No idea… it’s timber frame built is 2006. Wouldn’t have the best insulation.

What bord gais told me was "roughly 1.5kW per rad" as an estimate. Plus your cylinder. A decent condensing boiler will modulate down anyway.

If you've a decent BER it'll be different.
