What course are you looking to do? How long are you willing to do it? Will an employer pick up your CV? Do you lnow anyone who has done it?

Study Medicine Europe? Dodgy as fupp

Open University? Great if you have the money.

    Spring board. Great options available.

I have no idea about computer courses and industry

ATU offer a good deal of online stuff although you might be required to attend once or twice a year:

DkIT also offer some online courses although I did one there previously and the standard of their lecturers was veeery hit and miss. Had two lecturers literally reading off slides and not engaging at all with the live class:

I'd be wary of Open University these days. Do serious research on the course and the award you would get and where it can be used/recognised. OU have taken the approach that they don't need to do any re-aligning post Brexit and that their international reputation will stand to them (which is a good reputation to be fair to them) but that's no use if the certificate you get isn't recognised as having the same level as a certificate granted inside the EU. Plenty of over-qualified foreign workers in **** jobs trying to get an accredited EU qualification while their non-EU post-graduate degrees are worth naught but the paper they're written on. If there are 11 people fighting for 10 spots on a post-grad EU based course and 10 applicants have "equivalent" EU degrees and you have your OU degree I would wager the EU applicants would win out unless you absolutely nailed the interview/recognition process.

OU themselves urge caution in this regard:

The Best advice in my opinion is already mentioned above which is Udemy

    https://www.udemy.com/

Search for a course you want and bookmark it. Wait for a sale and buy it for anywhere between €12-20. Absolute bargain for what is usually 10-40 hours of detailed instruction. It's a great place to dip your toe into an area that interests you. They have courses on nearly everything computer related from beginner to intermediate. If you get through a course and find yourself enjoying it then I would go to the universities and get some accreditation.
