    Hi

What is the best way to utilise Tax Credits for a Married couple.

One person Working ( The higher income earner ) & the other person Retired with only a State Pension & a relatively small company pension.

Should the Couple split the Tax Credits or can the surplus Credits from the Lower Income earner be transferred to the Higher Income Earner.

What is the most Tax Effective way to use the credits.

    Thank you
