Return Vodafone Gigabox at end of contract?

    I've switched provider for 1GB FTTH from Vodafone to Pure Telecom. No hitches, everything perfectly smooth, received my final bill from Vodafone a number of weeks back.

    I presume Vodafone will want their Gigabox router back but I've received no communication from them. Do I wait until they ask, or is there something I can do preemptively? What's the normal procedure?

    They asked me to return my router to their nearest Vodafone shop but none of them is close to where I live so it is still with me (around 1 month after cancellation).

    I tried to return mine to the Vodafone store in Drogheda at the time but they said that they were a franchise and couldn't take it. I had to post it to them if I recall.
