Turkish national

Hi All,

My better half is Turkish, currently staying in Ireland with a student (English language). However, this is due to expire in 2 months.

My question is what the best avenue to keep her in ireland? What are the options

(First person to mention anything to do with a ring will be hunted down and shot xoxox)

• She can find a job, get an offer, get back to Turkey and get a working visa to work in Ireland. This assumes that she has skills that allow her to get a working visa.
• She can enroll into a full-time degree (relatively expensive option). However, when she gets here degree, she can get a job without having to leave the country. And it is easier to find a job with a local degree.

Possibly depending on how long you are together, I think there is something along the lines of a de facto relationship visa.

If I'm correct, Turkish citizens have visa-free travel in the EU. However, that might just apply to the Schengen area and it is for short trips, not long stays.
