Hi all, I have been waiting a few months for a driving test. I am seriously considering changing my test centre to get a quicker invitation, however if I do this will I be thrown to the back of the queue for my new centre, or will it count the time I have been waiting in my old centre as well? Hi all, I have been waiting a few months for a driving test. I am seriously considering changing my test centre to get a quicker invitation, however if I do this will I be thrown to the back of the queue for my new centre, or will it count the time I have been waiting in my old centre as well? If I'd be at the back of the queue I would be hesitant to switch centres. Thanks

I'm on the waiting list for Dun Laoghaire since the beginning of the year. The waiting list is now up to January next year. I checked Tallaght and Finglas and they're both into summer 2024. So I think you're put at the bottom of the list if you change test centres
