Sub Division of a Dwelling

    I am just wondering would any one have advise regarding sub division of a large residential property into 3 separate folios - inherited property.

    Would planning be needed? From research done I believe that planning is required

    Can you apply for planning before the property is subdivided ie can you apply now before the official split done on the land register?

    1 dwelling house converted to 3 will require PP. Yes do it before going near the Land Registry.
