I have in my possession an old antique cut glass vase that family lore says dates from the 1930s or 1940s. It is 24cms in height. There is a large chunk broken off the rim - see attached images. Plus a few smaller chips also off the rim. It is very heavy for its size. I can find no manufacturer marks on it.

Can I assume that it is valueless - bound for the bin? Or ???????
