Light option (without electrics) for cloakroom

    Hi,

Have a very small downstairs cloakroom that is under the stairs and is pretty dark.

I would like to have some sort of battery operated light in there (that maybe works off some sort of sensor if the door is opened, or failing that, a switch) without the need for needing an electrician to come out and install a light and switch.

Is there anything like that out there? That is simply a case of sticking to the roof of the cloakroom?

    Thanks

Try searching for motion sensor cabinet light.

Loads of battery powered options out there. You should be able to get something suitable for less than €10.

I think jml do lights that you can stick to walk/ceiling that you either press or are motion sensor.

    Might be worth a google.

These are pretty good, sensor to turn on when door opens, might not be great for cloakroom, depending on size.

They are all kinda Mickey mouse the battery lights but will do the job.

It's worth considering getting a proper light wired in.
