PSNI: Other Options

Given the delays with the PSNI, has anyone given thought to joining the NCA, Airport Police or Harbour Police? It would be interesting to learn how they differ to the PSNI

I’m half considering the fire service as a backup (although heard recruitment takes as long) Not sure I’d apply for any other force unless the harbour police had roles upcoming.
do the NCA hire people outright into officer / investigator roles or do you usually need to apply from a police force?

The Harbour Police doesnt come up that often and the last few recruitment drives have required you have been an officer with x amount of years experience.

Aye apparently harbour police aren’t accepting any new recruits going forward. You need to transfer from another uk force.
