From the Committee on Social Protection

"We are working with the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, OGCIO, to trial a private 5G network on Clare Island that we hope to use for the health project. We hope that that will be in place in the near future to allow us to continue the roll-out of our health initiative."

Network to be supplied by Cisco apparently

"Cisco is building a private 5G network and leveraging Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul to provide island coverage and connectivity to the internet right into islanders’ homes."

No mention of ComReg or spectrum.

The 3.8 - 4.2 GHz will likely be the home of private 5g networks, within Europe and probably beyond.

This was discussed in Comreg's last spectrum management document iirc.
