A few decent players in that.

The WDF are just about clinging onto life at this stage, especially when it comes to major events. Although the Prize for the Men's and Women's Champion has remained the same, the overall prize fund has dropped from £300k to £257k.

They have been unable to attract a sponsor for the tournament.

Most worryingly though is they have been unable to find any TV station willing to broadcast it for a fee. It will be shown on YouTube and will also be shown on Ayozat TV. The thing about Ayozat TV though is that you pay the TV station to show your content, not the other way around. So the WDF are paying Ayozat TV, probably so they can say that the tournament is still being shown on TV.

It's just not an attractive proposition anymore and the players won't support the tour for much longer, it's not worth the cost to travel around chasing ranking points anymore.

Beau Greaves has confirmed that she will be playing in this so she won't be taking up her Ally Pally spot.

It's the correct decision financially, she is massive favourite to win the £25k winners cheque in this, she'd have to win two games at Ally Pally to get £25k which is probably unlikely.

That’s if they don’t cut the prize fund mid way through the tournament…🙈

It's a tough watched. I stuck it on for a few hours on Saturday but couldn't stick it out. There was zero atmosphere and the production was pretty bad.

The adverts are like something from a skit show

Joe the butcher could pop up any minute

Speaking of ads, I was watching on YouTube stream on my smart tv and YouTube would play random ads in the middle of the match! It was very frustrating but obviously something the WDF agreed to happen. It wouldn't be an issue on a laptop with an adblocker but pretty ridiculous when trying to watch a match.

Fall from grace for Jelle Klassen

I wouldn't say he's missed by some in the PDC

You'd fancy Beatens to go on to win it

Beau Greaves a step above the rest in the Women's

Adam Dee has just made the youth final in this.

The WDF must of been desperate for TV coverage with the choice they made

Ayozat TV is a joke of a station

One sided final in the Men's

Andy Baetens beating Chris Landman 6-1

    First Belgian world champion
