Oven door rubber seal - can it be glued? Advice please

The rubber seal on the oven door has come away at the top this evening, and is hanging down in two pieces - picture below. It's very hard to get food in and out without touching the rubber, so going to be a massive pain until sorted.

Can this be glued? If so what's the correct glue?

Can this be done by someone with zero skills (me)?

If I need to get someone in to do it I'll be waiting months, but if so should I still buy the glue and have it here ready for them?

Gluing would only work as a very temporary fix (I used superglue once and only lasted a few weeks). They are very easy to replace ( I have replaced one myself in 5 mins and DIY is not my thing) and should be available to buy online where spare parts are available you just need your model number.

Thanks. I've no problem buying a replacement if that's possible, but how is the new one attached? Is it not glued on in the first place?

There's likely flat metal hooks in the corners of the seal that slot into holes in the oven surround.

It doesn't seem to. But I think the rubber has split in half at the top anyway. I don't think there should be a division where the two pieces are hanging down separately.

OK, thanks. Hopefully it can be delivered quickly. I've a fella coming to assemble shelves on Tuesday week, so hopefully he would fit it for me if it's here and it's a simple job. Thanks.

No unfortunately. It's impossible to get someone available to come sort it out.

I've ordered the replacement door seal anyway, but it says it could take two weeks to ship.

I did this a few weeks ago on my Zanussi oven, as others have said it should attach using pins/hooks on the corners. There's loads of videos on youtube on how replace it, simple job and only takes a few seconds to do.
