Safe Electric Cert

    Hi,

I want to move my fuse box and upgrade 3 phase at the same time.

My electrician says the ESB will be looking for a certificate from 'safe electric' first, and I think he's saying he needs to certify the whole house before they'll issue it, and that he can't just certify the work he did moving the fuse box.

Does this mean i need to rewire the whole house or are there any other options?

    Thanks.

Are you already on a 3P supply, just upgrading the tails and increasing the MIC?

Yes your electrician needs to test the installation for the upgrade 3phase supply,

but he should have tested the installation when he moved the consumer unit ,
