Mid range disc wheelsets - what's the jackanory.

Dunno much about history, geology or disc wheelsets.

What's a good upgrade from crappy stock wheels in disc braked hoops these days - like a zonda equivalent or something?

Yikes. 500 quid? Big jump in price there from the 300 odd for "normal" Zondas :(

€300? i paid €430 for a pair in humphries in 2018 i think!

anyway, bike24's own (discounted) price for rim brake zondas is €390, not €300. the disc brake ones are not discounted.

DT Swiss P1800 (or E1800 if you want a bit wider) are quite good and normally about 250€, going as low as 200 from time to time. If you want to save weight you have the likes of Hunt or Scribe for 4-500 but not sure if these are as robust
