Money taken from my debitcard on Booking.com

    I used my PTSB debit card as security for booking ****** on Booking.com for late December. and payment not to be taken until then. 2 days later *** took the full payment, aprox €1800 from my account. Booking.com said *** took the payment and the owner in **** said it was Booking.com who made the error. They finally said they issued the refund with Stripe and I should receive after a week. They refused to do a same day bank transfer even though I told her I would have no money and this was their error. This was a week ago and still not received my money, I literally have nothing left in my account and *** are not answering my calls. PTSB said there is nothing they can do until 15 days have passed.

    Is there anything I can do to get my money back today?

    i dont think there is, had similar problem with an airline, they took the money for tickets twice which left me with negative balance on my account. bank said they couldnt do anything given similar reason as yours, airline said they issued refund request but couldnt guarantee when I would have it back. Got the money back in about a week.
